Join the budding performance platform, Taste of Sounds, on August 11th, 2022 to celebrate our Third Year Anniversary by attending our first Taste of Sounds Fest in collaboration with Move Forward Music, an NYC-based music production company, at Baby’s All Right, one of the most notable music venues in NYC. This concert will feature a diverse lineup of New York’s finest underground artists such as the Flatbush Favorite Donnie Durag + Friends, Brooklyn’s most notable up-and-coming group World’s Worst Naybors, alluring vocalist Brianna Knight and more. We will also have emerging R&B superstar, Bairi, as our headliner for the night. The concert is being sponsored by a few like-minded companies such as DistroKid and Chartmetric. The concert will be live streamed via the Encore App where people at home can interact with the concert from the comfort of their own homes.
New York City, known for its underground music scene, has a multitude of artists who dedicate time towards creating music and expressing themselves freely. These lesser-known artists often get overlooked due to not having a large social media following or not having enough capital to fund their own creative disciplines. The lack of community within NYC’s creative industry is also very apparent, making it more challenging for creatives to find opportunities that can change their lives. This is why Taste of Sounds was created.
Taste of Sounds provides opportunities for the creative community by creating coffee-house-styled showcases for artists where they can express themselves freely and develop their own sense of community at 0 cost. Artists are also able to receive professional content from these showcases for free. Taste of Sounds seeks to continue our mission by creating larger showcases and implementing programs to make sure that local NYC artists are nurtured and have a chance to excel in their careers.
